Meal Plan Coaching Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

Welcome to Midwest Meals Meal Planning Service. By enrolling in our service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which outline our procedures, billing practices, and policies for cancellations, refunds, and meal orders. Please review these terms carefully.

2. Client Intake and Free Consultation

Intake Process: New clients are required to complete an intake meeting, either virtually or in person. During this meeting, our coaches will assess dietary needs, preferences, and health goals to create a tailored meal plan.

Free Consultation: We offer a one-time, complimentary consultation to assess if our service aligns with the client’s needs. This consultation does not obligate the client to purchase a plan, and the client is encouraged to ask any questions to fully understand the service.

Setting Expectations: Our goal is to establish a clear understanding of the client’s goals and how our meal planning service can support them. Weekly email check-ins are conducted to monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.

3. Packages and Pricing - Package Options: We offer three service packages to accommodate varying client needs:

Basic Program: $200/month – includes personalized meal planning, nutrition setup, and ongoing support.

Standard Package: $375/month – includes the Basic Program plus five pre-prepared meals per week.

Premium Package: $500/month – includes the Basic Program plus ten pre-prepared meals per week.

Billing: All packages are billed monthly. Payment is due within seven days of receipt if not on an automatic payment schedule. If payment is delinquent, service will be paused immediately until full payment is received.

Payment Methods: We accept credit and debit card payments processed securely through our website.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations: Clients may cancel their service anytime before the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests must be received prior to the billing date to avoid charges for the upcoming month. Service will continue through the paid period.

Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, primarily when service cannot be completed. Our policy emphasizes continuing service through any period already paid to ensure clients receive their full benefit.

Service Pausing: If you are unable to continue with the service temporarily, please contact us to discuss options for resuming at a later date.

5. Creating and Delivering Meal Plans

Setting Nutrition Targets: Based on each client’s intake information, our coaches will use a custom-built calculator to establish personalized caloric and macronutrient targets. Adjustments are made based on progress and client feedback.

Customized Meal Plans: Meal plans are crafted individually using world-class  software and are tailored to meet client dietary preferences and health goals. We promise we will never use "cookie cutter" templates.

Delivery of Meal Plans: Plans are delivered via email as a PDF attachment, using a templated format with personalized instructions. Clients can expect to receive their meal plan in a timely manner as outlined by their package schedule.

6. Meal Ordering and Fulfillment

Order Deadlines: Orders are placed each Friday for clients who have meals included in their package. Meals are available for pickup or delivery on Mondays.

Customization and Modifications: Due to our production processes, pre-prepared meals cannot be customized. All meal items are created as indicated in the meal plan provided.

Meal Quantities: Clients may select 5 or 10 meals per week as part of their package. Additional meals can be ordered independently, but all orders follow the Friday ordering deadline.

Pickup and Delivery: Clients can pick up their meals at no additional cost, and delivery is included within our service area. Shipping is available at an additional cost.

Order Finality: Once placed, meal orders are final, and no changes or cancellations are allowed after the Friday order deadline.

7. Liability and Health Disclaimer

Nutritional Guidance: Our meal planning service is designed to provide general nutrition guidance based on the information provided by the client. Clients should consult their physician before making any dietary changes, especially if they have any pre-existing health conditions.

Allergens: While we strive to accommodate dietary restrictions, our kitchen handles ingredients that may contain allergens. Clients are responsible for disclosing any allergies or sensitivities during the intake process.
